Edessa

Jenn Taylor is a local singer/songwriter that has been performing for years throughout Florida and the East Coast.  In addition to singing and songwriting, Jenn also plays strings and piano.  Jenn started singing and playing violin when she was only 4 years old and won her first songwriting competition at 16 years old where she was featured in the USA Today Magazine television show. Jenn is a proud graduate of The Florida State University where she principled in violin and voice.  In addition to the Edessa Project, Jenn is fortunate to be collaborating and training with the one and only Katie Kadan, Season 17 finalist from the Voice.

Rachel Hillman is a professional singer songwriter based in Tallahassee who has released three studio albums, “Bonfire,” “Roadie,” and “Influences,” and one single “Cold Feet”. She began seriously studying music in high school after moving to Tallahassee in 2006, beginning with classical voice and transitioning to American folk genres such as blues and jazz.  Hillman leads multiple bands and performs professionally at the regional and local level as a cantor, lead vocalist and rhythm and lead guitarist, with groups such as Tallahassee Swing, Edessa, and her jazz combo the Dogwoods.

Miriam Tellechea began studying the violin at age six. She received her Bachelor of Music from Florida State University, Master of Music in Viola Performance at The Boston Conservatory. She has been a member of many orchestras, including the Tallahassee Symphony, Mobile Symphony, the Columbus (GA) Symphony. Miriam has performed solo, chamber, and orchestral music across the United States and Europe and maintains an active performing and teaching career in Tallahassee.
